SECURE SCOTLAND UPDATE

Updated: Sep 20

We are thrilled to share the positive news that we have secured additional funding from the Joesph Rowntree Charitable Trust, ensuring that our work will continue over the next two years at our premises at Words and Actions for Peace, 58 Ratcliffe Terrace, EH9 1ST. Thanks to this support, we’re looking forward to diving even deeper into the vital issues that drive our work. From food security and the wellbeing economy to peace and disarmament, violence reduction, and land reform, our focus is on creating tangible change in these critical areas.

But we’re not doing this alone. We’re reaching out to seek collaboration with like-minded organisations and individuals who also share our passion for these causes.

We believe that collaboration is the key to strengthening our impact. That’s why we’re particularly eager to connect with others who are engaged in these similar fields. Are you working on initiatives related to food security? Are you advocating for peace or pushing for a wellbeing economy? Do you have a unique approach to violence reduction or land reform? If so, we would love to hear from you!

We’re especially interested in partnerships that use creativity and the power of language to bring attention to these issues. Whether it’s through storytelling, art, music or film, we know that the value of creativity can spark action and drive positive change.

While we’re excited about the future, we also recognise that continued support is crucial. Your donations are vital in allowing us to move forward with our current projects and explore new opportunities for collaboration. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

You can participate in ongoing or upcoming projects, or support us through donations and volunteering, by visiting the contacts and alerts page on our website.

Thank you!
