About the event

Nuclear weapons are the most inhumane and indiscriminate weapons ever created. They violate international law, cause severe environmental damage, undermine national and global security, and divert vast public resources away from meeting human needs. They must be eliminated urgently. Hear from those affected and learn what must be done. This event will showcase two films and a presentation by those directly effected by nuclear weapons in Japan, Kazakhstan and Scotland. Additionally, there will be time for discussion between parliamentarians, campaigners, artists and concerned citizens.
